If you’ve ever asked a travel agent how much a trip to Disneyland was going to cost you, you likely got the answer “it depends”. And if you’re anything like me, you probably rolled your eyes at that response. How difficult could it be to give you a rough estimate for Disneyland vacation packages? I mean, that’s your job, right?
Then I started my own Disney-specialized travel agency, and I realized that it really DOES depend. On quite a few different variables. Which is what makes it so hard to ballpark an answer for anyone, and why you need to have a fairly firm idea of what your travel plans are before attempting to get a quote. (Need help even getting started with your plans? Check out this post, or apply to work with me – my job is to help you decipher what you want, and then make it happen!)
Often, when you’re asking this question, you don’t have any plans in mind. You just want a sort of rough estimate so that you can wrap your mind around very far-off future plans. Which is why I decided to create this post – so that you have some samples to give you a rough idea of what you might expect.

Please note: I am not guaranteeing that I can get a similar package for you – prices and offerings at Disneyland are always subject to change. These are merely examples given to give you a small idea to wrap your mind around. Variables to Note
There’s a lot to consider when it comes to determining your best plan for your Disneyland vacation, and each of those decisions is going to affect the price of your Disneyland vacation package.
Before I get into the sample packages themselves, I want to make sure you’re aware of what sorts of variables matter when looking at these and pricing out your own packages.
Room Type
There are so many different types of rooms on property at Disneyland, that I’m not even sure Disney itself can keep up. Standard view, preferred view, garden view, water view, theme park view …. And those are just to begin with. Then, you’ve also got some hotels with Club level. Which has added perks, with added costs as well.
Travel Dates
As with any hotel, the days of the week you’re staying make a difference with cost, but so does the month you’re traveling. Hotels and packages are going to be more expensive during the summer than they are in the winter, and week days will be cheaper than weekends.
Party Size
This is fairly self-explanatory. The only thing to keep in mind here is that children younger than 3 will get into the parks for free.
Tickets
There are many, many variables when it comes to tickets as well. (All of which I go into much more detail of in this blog post.) You’ve got add-ons like park hopper, water parks, and Genie+ that increase the cost. But similar to hotels, the days that you’ll be in the parks also influence ticket pricing.
